Firstly, we need to create a user restriction
In Dashboard Configuration>Users, select the user that you want to apply the restriction to on the left-hand side and then click the ‘Restrictions’ tab
Click the ‘Add’ icon at the top-right of the screen. You will now be able to browse through the Data Connections that the user has access to and select the Object that you want to restrict on. In this example, we’re adding a restriction to the ‘Job Role’ Object

Next, select the ‘Restriction Value by clicking the ‘Lookup up’ icon. You can select multiple values if you need to. Click the 'Apply’ button at the bottom of the screen to return to the main user page
Remember to click the ‘Save’ icon to confirm your changes
