User Restrictions will only apply to a single data connection. Even though we’ve restricted what a user can see on the Sales connection she could still potentially see everything in the Finance connection for exampleData Connection. If you want to restrict a user fully ensure you add the restrictions to every Data Connection. |
Alternatively, you could set up two separate Data Connections. One that contains very high level information that the user might be restricted on and a second one that contains low level information that they can view fully.
