You have a user that you only want to be able to see certain content in your dashboard. For example, when this user logs in, they should only be able to see information relating to staff who are Managers.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Instructions

  1. Firstly, we need to create a user restriction

  2. In Dashboard Configuration>Users, select the user that you want to apply the restriction to on the left-hand side and then click the ‘Restrictions’ tab

  3. Click the ‘Add’ icon at the top-right of the screen. You will now be able to browse through the Data Connections that the user has access to and select the Object that you want to restrict on. In this example, we’re adding a restriction to the ‘Job Role’ Object

  4. Next, select the ‘Restriction Value by clicking the ‘Lookup up’ icon. You can select multiple values if you need to. Click the 'Apply’ button at the bottom of the screen to return to the main user page

  5. Remember to click the ‘Save’ icon to confirm your changes

You can add as many User Restrictions as you need for each user.
