How to connect pi to a Rivery instance

Login to your dashboard or, alternatively you can use this link https://try-pi.panintelligence.cloud.

If you’re using a try-pi instance, by clicking on the link shown above, you will need to login with the following details:

Username: dashboard

Password: dashboard

Click ‘Dashboard Configuration’ in the top-right corner.

Click ‘Data Connections’ and then click the ‘Add’ button to create a new data connection.

Sign into Rivery and click ‘Create New River’ at the top right of the screen.

Click the ‘Source to Target’ option and search for the target you want to connect to.

In this example, we’re connecting to Zendesk. In ‘Source Details’ we’ve created a link to our Zendesk connection.

In ‘Entity’ we can now select the data that you want to use and then in ‘Extract Method’ we selected ‘All’, which will pull all tickets.

Now click ‘Target’ and select your target database. In this example, we’re going to use Snowflake.

Select or create your ‘Target Connection’, enter the ‘Database’ and ‘Schema Name’ and then complete the ‘Table Name’.

If required, you can do table mapping on the ‘Schema’ tab.

Click Run at the bottom of the screen to create the river. When this has finished, you should see a notification at the bottom left of the screen.

You will now be able to continue setting up your connection using your selected ‘Data Target’ - as mentioned, we used Snowflake in this example and you can find additional information on how to connect Snowflake to Panintelligence here.

Have a look at some of our videos/ pi Academy to see what you can do in your dashboard. We also have lots of information in our documentation section.
