Using Variables

As with the charts on pi Dashboard, you can also use Variables shipped with the dashboard in your report. Please refer to the variables section in pi Documentation for more information.

Variables reference certain information and pull through the detail into the report when it’s generated.

Example

A variable for ‘Today’s date’ has been added to this report. When the report is previewed, we can see that the current date is displayed.
