Formatting the Card

Formatting the card can be as simple as making text bold and increasing the font size or could also include changing the font type and adding background colour to the card and text so that it stands out better on the dashboard.

To format the card, click into the card in the Design section at the top of the screen and a Formatting section will be displayed above the card chart.

If text already exists in a text box, remember to select the text that you want to format before choosing the formatting option.

The options in the formatting section are explained in more detail in the following table:

To show how formatting can now be used, we’ve formatted the Card Chart in the following screenshot using different elements for each word.

In addition to the formatting options users will now be able to download a Card Chart as a Word.docx.

 Copy Formatting

The ‘Copy Formatting’ icon can be used to copy the formatting from different areas of the Card Chart. You can then decide which formatting you want to apply when you use the ‘Apply Copied Formatting’ icon. To copy formatting, select the formatted text and then click ‘Copy Formatting’. All formatting that has been applied to the selected text e.g. font colour, font size and font family will be copied. You will be able to add several selections of formatting using the ‘Copy Formatting’ icon.

Apply Copied Formatting

In the following example, we copied formatting from different areas of the document. All selections can be seen when we select a different area of the document and click the ‘Apply Copied Formatting’ icon.

To apply formatting, click on the copied selection that you want to use.

You can remove individual copied formatting by clicking the remove icon next to the relevant selection.

You can clear all copied formatting by clicking ‘Clear This List’.

Formatting that you’ve added to ‘Copy Formatting’ will remain available for use until you log out or click ‘Clear This List’.

Checking which Font you used

If you need to check which font you applied, select the text that has been formatted and click the ‘Font Family’ icon. The font that you used will be highlighted.
