Charts Links

Chart Links are similar to Drill Levels. They are a way of navigating to related content from a chart on the dashboard.

Chart links can be displayed above, below or at either side of a chart cell. When you click on one of these links, you may see different views of the content in the cell e.g. the main chart may show a monthly view of data and link buttons may provide access to weekly and yearly views of the same data or they may display the same data but in different chart types e.g. in a Pie chart or data table.

In the following example, we have a bar chart that shows us a Sales by Month view. At the top of the chart, we have link buttons, clicking one of these links will allow us o view the same data by year or week.

This view also contains link buttons that can be used to view the data by Month or Week.

This view also contains link buttons that can be used to view the data by Month or Year.

The Yearly and Weekly views both contain an icon in the bottom-left corner that can be used to quickly navigate back to the main chart.
