Sankey Diagram

A Sankey Diagram is used to show a flow from one set of values to another. The things being connected are called nodes and the connections are called links. Sankey Diagrams are best used when you want to show a many-to-many mapping between two domains or multiple paths through a set of stages.

Sankey Diagrams behave in the same way as Chord Diagrams.

In order to understand the data in Sankey Diagrams, Data Labels should be added. These are not displayed as default so please refer to Formatting a Sankey Diagram for details on how to add these.

In the January 2022 release, ‘Show Data Values’ on the Attributes screen will be selected by default.
