Deleting a Role

To delete a Role, click the ‘To Delete’ button at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

You will then be able to select the Role that you want to delete. 

In the following screenshot, you will see that the Dashboard Admin role cannot be selected. If we hover over the icon highlighted in the screenshot we can see that the role can’t be deleted due to 1) it may have categories or 2) it has permissions and links to users. This means that all category permissions and users that have been given this role must be unassigned in the user access section before the role can be deleted.

After selecting the role(s) that you want to delete, click the ‘Delete Selected’ button.
