Our Advanced Chart Designer Course is an intermediate course that builds on the Dashboard Introduction training and drills into more complex chart designer functionality.

Duration

The duration of this course is 1 day.

Capacity

Maximum of 8 attendees per course.

Cost per person

This cost of this course is £200 per attendee.

Location

The course can be delivered online via Teams or at the Panintelligence office in Leeds.

Attendee Profile

This course is aimed at Professional Services and Development staff who will be configuring dashboards, creating preconfigured builds for customers or delivering bespoke work for chart creation.

Trainees must have completed the Dashboard Introduction course prior to attending this session.

Course Outline

By the end of this course, all attendees will be able to complete the following tasks:

  • Best practise

  • Human Chart Enabler (explanation of where and when chart types are useful, provide both good and bad examples for each chart type, dependant on data set), explore ALL chart types and maps

  • Data tables - Crosstab, Rotated table, Column attributes

  • Download data (CSV/PDF)

  • Link buttons

  • Complex drill paths - drill to chart, drill to category, drill to URL

  • Parent charts

  • Category objects - All types, Multi-picker, Image, Checkbox, Date picker, Using {{objects}} from category objects in chart filters, Using {{objects}} in chart titles, what if, Object swap, Across multiple data connections

  • Card chart type

  • Deleting charts

  • No labels
