The ‘Text’ section at the top of the report screen can be used to change the appearance of the text in your report.
The icons available in this section are explained in more detail in the following table.

If you want to apply the same formatting to all text in the selected cell, click into the cell and select the formatting that you want to use before entering the text. Alternatively, you can format individual words or sentences by selecting the word/sentence and then applying the formatting.
In the following screenshot, we selected the entire sentence in a cell and then clicked the ‘Font Family’ icon to choose a new font.
In the following example, we only selected part of the first sentence and changed the font, font size and font colour on this section only. The remainder of the text is unchanged from the default font, size and colour.
Copy Formatting
The ‘Copy Formatting’ icon can be used to copy the formatting from different areas of the document. You can then decide which formatting you want to apply when you use the ‘Apply Copied Formatting’ icon. To copy formatting, select the formatted text and then click ‘Copy Formatting’. All formatting that has been applied to the selected text e.g. font colour, font size and font family will be copied. You will be able to add several formatting selections using this icon.
Apply Copied Formatting
In the following example, we copied formatting from two different areas of the document. Both selections can be seen when we select a different area of the document and click the ‘Apply Copied Formatting’ icon.
To apply formatting, click on the copied selection that you want to use.
You can remove individual copied formatting by clicking the remove icon next to the relevant selection.
You can clear all copied formatting by clicking ‘Clear This List’.
Formatting that you’ve added to ‘Copy Formatting’ will remain available for use until you log out or click ‘Clear This List’.
Clearing Formatting
To remove formatting, select the formatted text and click the relevant icon for example, to remove Font size, click the ‘Font Size’ icon and then click ‘Clear’.
To remove text colour or background colour, select the text and click the relevant icon e.g. ‘Text Background Colour’ and then click ‘Remove Colour’.
Checking which Font you used
If you need to check which font you applied, select the text that has been formatted and click the ‘Font Family’ icon. The font that you used will be highlighted.
