Background

It has come to our attention that our current supplier for map tiles (Skobbler) is ceasing to exist, therefore certain map tiles are currently missing from the maps in the dashboard. We are replacing Skobbler with Thunderforest (as standard) in our next release, however in the interim, customers can make a change to the Dashboard System Variables now to take advantage of Thunderforest.

Solution

Replace the URL for MAP_TILE_URL to be (Contact Support)

Steps To Take

  1. Log into the dashboard as the Administrator/Admin User

  2. Navigate to the ‘Dashboard Configuration’ menu (using the spanner icon)

  3. Open the ‘Settings’ tab

  4. Under 'Global Variables' tab, find the 'System Variables: Maps' section

  5. Replace the existing URL for MAP_TILE_URL with the following link, then save your changes;
