Adding and Removing Data Objects

You can quickly remove a characteristic by clicking the remove icon beneath the relevant characteristic.

After clicking the ‘Save’ icon, pi Predicts completely rebuilds the model and all remaining characteristics are re-evaluated.

Odour is now the significant characteristic, but stalk colour below ring and ring number are also important for increasing your probability of finding an edible mushroom. You can keep exploring the data set and add and remove columns, using your domain knowledge to find a model which is useful.

To add data, click the ‘Add’ icon beneath the current data fields and choose another characteristic from the list.

To change the order of the data columns, click on the object that you want to move and use the Up or Down arrows to move it to a new position.
