In this section you’ll be able to find comprehensive release notes in our Release Notes Library, which cover what's been included in each release.

You will also find information on how upgrading works, supported by information on when future releases are being targeted for. Whilst these dates are subject to change, it can be useful to be aware of these for an early position, to help with your own planning.

Release Notes

Each set of Release Notes contain a high-level overview of the changes included and may contain links to updated or new documentation specific to those changes.

New documentation tends to be introduced when a new or notable change is made to a feature, therefore keep an eye out for these as they may contain the deeper context needed to understand the change and assess if this may impact your use case of the software.

In some cases, we may include videos to demonstrate changes or new feature, or we may advise of a future Webinar that may follow the release of this feature.

Before upgrading to the latest software, we always recommend that you read all of the release notes from the version you are upgrading from and to, to ensure the changes introduced will not impact your use case of the software. We also recommend that any upgrades are performed in a Test environment before making Production system changes.

Upgrading

We encourage all of our partners to upgrade to the latest version of the dashboard software, as frequently as possible, to take advantage of the new features and security improvements we introduce each month.

  • Containers & AMI

Customers can also take advantage of our GitHub repository, or if you prefer AWS, we have images available on the AWS Marketplace site for you.

  • Windows & Linux

For those customers who deploy on Windows and/or Linux, you can obtain the latest release directly from our Customer Portal site – if you don’t have access to this, please let us know and we can get you up and running in minutes.

  • piSaaS

Customers who have their dashboard instance hosted on our piSaaS platform, we conduct upgrades for you shortly after the software release has been made available. For more information on the process around this, and when these are being planned for, please see HERE for more details.

Important: If you are unsure on the path to take when upgrading, check out our Upgrade guides first and try in a Test instance - making sure to have taken BackUps beforehand. If you need help, when not speak to your Customer Success Manager and explore if it might be appropriate for us to perform an assisted upgrade with one of our Consultants.

Whilst we tend to release at the end of each month, we do sometimes do this less frequently when we have a significant change to deliver, therefore keep up-to-date with our targeted release dates as listed below.
