Data Tables

A table (sometimes known as a data grid) is typically used to return exact values from a mix of dimensions/ measures without the hindrance of a limit on the number of dimensions/ measures you can use. It is also frequently used as the final level of a drill down to show the individual data items that make up the total(s) from the previous level.

Example

A very simple example of a table, that shows the Annual Value, Number of Employees and Stage by Customer. A colour has also been added that highlights all Customer with more than 200 employees.

Maximum Number of Rows

The maximum number of rows that can be displayed in a Data Table (and exported) is determined by the figure entered in the ‘Max Rows’ field in Dashboard Configuration>Data Connections>Connection. This figure is set to 5000 rows by default but can be changed. Please be aware that increasing this figure too much may have an impact on your Dashboard performance.
