Export to PowerPoint - Limitations

The following limitations apply when using the ‘Export to PowerPoint’ option in pi Reports:

  • If there is an element with a scrollbar on the design screen, the text will generate but will appear behind the image. Either expand the element, change the content size or hide text to avoid this 

  • Take care when adding images to the header or footer. If the image is too large, it will go off the screen and cannot be moved. 

  • There are limitations with tables on PowerPoint. Complicated report designs with multiple tables may result in alignment issues or failure to render. 

  • Positioning elements underneath tables may result in alignment issues. For more accurate positioning, keep amount of elements on the same slide as a table to a minimum.
