How to connect pi to a SingleStore instance
Login to your dashboard or, alternatively you can use this link https://try-pi.panintelligence.cloud.
If you’re using a try-pi instance, by clicking on the link shown above, you will need to login with the following details:
Username: dashboard
Password: dashboard
Click ‘Dashboard Configuration’ in the top-right corner.
Click ‘Data Connections’ and then click the ‘Add’ button to create a new data connection.
In the Singlestore console, https://portal.singlestore.com/, select the cluster that you want to connect to.
You will need to create an account in SingleStore.
When the cluster has been created and is online, the bar at the top of the screen will turn green. You will now be able to click the ‘Connect’ button at the bottom right of the screen.
You will need to enter the information highlighted in the following screenshot into your dashboard.
Enter the Database name into the ‘Database Name’ field in your dashboard.
Click the ‘Save’ icon at the top of the screen. If all details have been entered correctly the ‘Data’ tab will be displayed.
Click the ‘Add’ icon, select the tables that you want to use and then click ‘Generate’ at the bottom right. You can find details on how to add tables here.
Your new connection is now ready to use.
