Using a Sankey Diagram

The default view of a Sankey Diagram will show all links.

When you hover over a link, a tooltip will be displayed that shows the connection between the two nodes along with the total number of dependencies it has. In this instance only the selected link will be highlighted, all other links will be opaque.

In the above example, we can see that is 1 item (weight) connecting Jon and Ming. In the following data table, that has been created from the same data as the Sankey Diagram, we can see that ticket number 1 is connected to both Jon and Ming, adding up to the weight of 1.

Hovering over a node itself will display a tooltip that shows the total number of dependencies for that node. We can see, by hovering over the node for Jon in the following screenshot, that the weight is 4 and that there are links to 2 different people, Ming and Leah. Only the links that are connected to the selected node will be highlighted, all other links will be opaque.

The following data table shows the connection between Jon and the other members of staff. Jon has 3 tickets linked to Leah and 1 to Ming.
